Right to legal Identity

It is the right of every child to get an identity, name and to acquire a nationality. Birth registration provides the first legal recognition of the child and is generally required for the child to obtain a birth certificate and as a result any other legal documents like citizenship, passport, property documents etc. Thus, Shelter major activity is to lobby for children to attain all their necessary legal documents which will help them in their future endeavor.
